Hasina to return to Bangladesh for polls, says son

Former PM Sheikh Hasina’s son Sajeeb Wazed has said that his mother will return to her native country Bangladesh once the interim government decides to hold elections. Sheikh Hasina has taken shelter in India while trying to go to the United Kingdom.    Foreign minister Jaishankar has said that he spoke to UK officials but didn’t share any further details.

Hasina is reported to stay in India for time being although there are no so official policies for refugees.  She is under safe shelter  with her sister in New Delhi. The former PM has faced some "technical problems" in securing an assylum in the UK after she fled from her native country Bangladesh due to the severe protest being held by the students.

Her son further mentions that he shall not step back from joining politics in necessary situations: " i'm sure the Awami League will take part in the election and we might even win".
