INTERIM PM MUHAMMAD YUNUS ARRIVES DHAKA

Noble laureate Muhammad Yunus calls it “second independence” as he returns to Dhaka. “ Today is a glorious day for us” he said. He further added “Bangladesh has created a new victory day” on the ouster of the former PM Sheikh Hasina that occurred due to the students’ protest.

Yunus expounded his heartfelt gratitude to those who lost their lives in the riot. He is set to take oath as the interim PM at 7:30 today (IST).

HASINA’S SON SAJEEB WAZED JOY COMMENTED ON BANGLADESH AMIDST THE ONGOING RIOT:

 “Pakistani ISI fuelling unrest in Bangladesh” says former PM’s son according to sources. He also added, “Sheikh Hasina will be back in Bangladesh once democracy is restored.”

MUHAMMAD YUNUS TO TAKE OTH AS THE HEAD OF THE INTERIM GOVERNMENT TODAY

Noble laureate Muhammad Yunus will be taking oath as the head of the interim government of Bangladesh on 8th August Thursday after former PM Sheikh Hasina ouster. Returning to the country he says “violence is our enemy, don’t increase enemies”, “refrain from all kinds of violence” for “our new victory”; it is not “anger” or “revenge” but “love and peace” that will rebuild the country.Gen Waker Uz Zaman declared on Wednesday that the interim government will take oath on Thursday; the council may consist of 15 members.

INDIAN VISA CENTRES SHALL REMAIN CLOSED DUE TO UNREST

Every Indian visa centre in Bangladesh shall remain closed until further notice is issued due to the ongoing turmoil. Further declarations shall be informed via SMS where the should be collected on the next working day, as notified by the officials.

BANGLADESH UPHEAVEL AFFECTS HOWRAH FISH SALE

There have been great loss in the fish trade in Howrah fish market that built from the hault in the export and import of fish due to the unrest.  An approximate loss of crores are being faced by the fish traders of Howrah, where the sales of  Hilsa remain high at the monsoon.
