World Health Organization (WHO) has announced the outbreak of Mpox happening in Congo and in some other parts in Africa that might emerge into global emergency. This may need urgent action to restrain the virus’s transmission. Sweden recorded it’s first case of the virus- its spread is low in Europe; although imported cases are expected.

Mpox spreads with close contact and is slower that covid 19. Despite sufficient vaccines and medications, Congo faces inadequate resources. This portrays the need of global efforts to restrain the virus spread and support affected region. It generally spreads through closer skin to skin contact with the infected people or with their used utensils, clothes and bedsheets.
