PM Narendra Modi visited the famous Omar Ali Saifuddein
Mosque in Bandar Sari Begawan, of Brunei on Tuesday. Modi was felicitated by Brunei’s
Minister of religious affairs Pehin Dato Haji Awang Badaruddin. Dr. Haji
Mohammad Islam also attended the event. Indian community members of Brunei also
came to greet Modi.
PM Modi inaugurated the new building of Indian High
Commission in Brunei by littimg a lamp and revealing a plague. Modi interacted
with the Indian Community members present at the inauguration. He encouraged
the contribution the Indian members bridge between the two countries and
strengthen bilateral ties.
