Kolkata’s Students’ organisations have summoned a “Nabanna Rally”- marching to the West Bengal State Secretariate today as their plea for Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s resignation to protest against the rape and murder of R G Kar Hospital PG trainee.

The students of the state demand for the for the Chief Ministers’ resignation due to mismanaging the heinous crime against R G Kar incident. Students proclaim that the march will not affect the UGC NET students since examinations will be conducted in two different shifts. Despite these instances, many educational institutions have decided to either arrange online classes today or declare a holiday.
