CBI DIG WITHDRAWS FROM KOLKATA MEDIC MURDER CASE AFTER SC ORDERS TO REPLACE HIM

DIG Dr. Akash Nag of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), withdraws from investigation of the Kolkata R G Kar medic murder case after Supreme Court orders to replace him, in confession with the fact that the case has been manipulative under political pressure and social influence of West Bengal. In his withdrawal letter he clearly states that the PG trainee doctor was pre-planningly murdered by four other on-duty intern doctors which was carried out under observation of influential political individuals. Dr. Nag further mentions that CBI has been facing constant obstacles hindering the investigation team to take the case forward; the constant interference of political and social bodies of the state inhibits the fair investigation system. Hence, for the sake of fair justice to the crime and performing according to the order of the Supreme Court, DIG Dr. Nag withdraws from the investigation.
