MPOX OUTBREAK: CENTRE PUTS PORTS, AIRPORTS ON ALERT

Central Health Ministry has ordered all airports and ports
at the borders of Pakistan and Bangladesh to remain alert upon the
international passengers having symptoms of Mpox, as the outbreak of the disease
seems to appear globally. Health Ministry marks Delhi’s Ram Manohar Lohia
Hospital, Safdarjung Hospital, Lady Hardinge Hospitals as the centres in Delhi
for treatment, isolation and management of the same disease. The centre has
also asked the state governments to designate hospital centres for Mpox under
their authorities.
