PM MODI GETS PHONE CALL FROM PM YUNUS, THE LATER ASSURES HINDUS SAFETY

Bangladesh Interim Prime Minister Muhammad Yunus called Narendra
Modi on Friday. The two leaders exchanged words and views upon the current situation
of Bangladesh. Yunus also assured the Indian PM about safety and security of
the Hindu minorities in the country.
PM Modi posted on Instagram yesterday: “Received a telephone
call from Professor Muhammad Yunus, @ChiefAdviserGoB. Exchanged views on the
prevailing situation. Reiterated India's support for a democratic, stable,
peaceful and progressive Bangladesh. He assured protection, safety and security
of Hindus and all minorities in Bangladesh.”
