SABARMATI EXPRESS DERAILED NEAR KANPUR AT 2:30 A.M.

It was 2.30 a.m. on Saturday 17th August that 20
coaches of Sabarmati Express derailed in between Kanpur and Bhimsen station. According
to reports, no passenger got injured. The loco pilot of that train explained some
bolder hit the cattle guard of the engine that was the reason of the train’s
damage. Seven trains were been cancelled and three were diverted due to the
incident.
As sources, 8 couches Memu rake departed at 5:21 a.m. at the
site to help passengers reach up to Kanpur. Bus services were also kept for
passengers’ benefits.
