INDIAN ARMY CAPTAIN SACRIFICES LIFE IN JAMMU-KASHMIR ENCOUNTER

Indian Army Captain Deepak Singh died at the Doda encounter in
the Assar area of Jammu and Kashmir. The gunfight took place between security
personnels and unidentified terrorists where military fighters have cornered
the terrorists in a riverine area in Doda. Amidst the massive gunfights, the search
for terrorists were predominant. Today’s encounter occurred in a dense forest
area at the time of a search operation launched by the joint team of Indian
army and Jammu-Kashmir police to trace a group of terrorists hiding at the
Shivgarh-Assar belt. Jammu has been witnessing a considerable rise of terror in
the present year.
