Millions across the globe are affected in Alzheimer’s disease that impairs cognitive abilities and erodes precious memories. Formation of amyloid plaques in the brain is the cause of the disease. Scientists of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) finds out the cause to be more cautious and tiny threat- amyloid beta monomer.

Once the disease is detected at the early stage, it can be ceased in its track before it intensifies. They little protein particles release chaos in the brain; they are the substructure of bigger amyloid plaques. Before the plaques grow, a beta monomers pose a massive threat and occur damage by themselves. The new origin has disclosed new ways to treat Alzheimer.
